EYE-Part 3, Reflections of the day
Was a normal day for me.But is also a time for me to reflect for this year on my character in my studies. Start the day pretty good.Positive sign =)
Woke up at around 5.15 am this morning, didn't feel that need to go back to my bed to sleep Zzzzz.. a little longer. Quite/well freshen up for the day another positive sign =). Went out of the house around 6 am after a light breakfast. Inside me, I recall on when was the last time i took the 172 bus from CCK to WWSS. Pretty glad that i reach WWSS early for my SC duty (Took a bottle of Chicken Essence for my health sake).
Also being the 1st student in my class to be in the quadrangle, went to the back gate for my SC duty, saw Mel again calling my so-called nicknamed 'Botak' (Most of the Westwoodians know me quite well due to my hairstyle).A good thing that she did not go and debate over my hairstyle. Have to raise my voice to some people as to prevent them from coming late. Quite a number of latecomers today which to me is quite ok and not so bad. Normal assembly and went to the hall to begin my first job as an SC Phtographer for the Sec 1 SCs speech.Hope it will be success (In my mind).
Went to the hall for their Sec 1s SC speeches, noted Fernanders (who have recuited me as a SC Photographer once again for this year which I am pretty happy to received this honor again). Saw their performance for a while untill Crystal told me to go back to class for lessons. Well, obeyed her and left the hall 'heartbroken & disapointed' in not fufilling my first mission. It's still not the end of my life anyway. Must remember-Always be resilent in anything you do.
Back to the story, went back to class, feeling a little remorseful of being 'chase out', began to write a letter which occupies 1.5 foolscap page on both sides, writing my feelings and having that SCs who has talents should be recuited and to develop in living thier life to the fullest. Didn't passed the letter to Mr Michael Chua yet as the written one was a draft without anything editing. My first thought was to sent through email but finally decided to 'cancel' the plan. Got back my overall results. It was a surprise for me that I have at least met the minimum criteria of going to Sec 4 NA (Wishing it will be a success once again for Promotion Excersise). Before the results were out, my mind was thinking 'Have I met the criteria enough' untill Ms Lee read out my results that i have minimally passed the criteria. With the help of pushing up on my Science overall results (if not, that's the end of me Noooo...), finally still on the safe zone.
Time goes by...After recess, went back to class for the continuation of Maths lessons as to cotinue some parts of unfinished chapters which we have to cover now before we go to Sec 4 NA where they will be a shortage of time so have to learn in advance. Got some benefits in learning in advance as you know the theory of a subject before.
Physics lessons, went throught Physics paper (The most killing paper) did corrections as much as possible where I have to delay Mrs Vergis as i have made an appointment with her due to this. Have to apologise for this.
Went to see Mrs Vergis in the chit chat room. Began to express my heartfelt feelinngs of my talent in photography and having the first thought like being rejected. But I was wrong in my thinking, she told me that the teacher around me were thinking that I'm budging them in which I don't want to do on them.
She encourage me to make an 'alliance' with them which is also informing them and that's the key which i left out. I felt sorry for myself. Thank her for the encourging words and her advice to me.
Went back to class to finish up my Physics corrections and finally-Chemistry Paper, did pretty quick. Mdm Sim has kindly told how's the promotion is going to be like tommorow. Heard that for those borderline passing cases/character learning has to sign a form on contract on how to improve in their acedemic skills during the 2 months holidays. Also have to take a retest in a particular paper as
to prove to some of the teachers that they've done something during the holidays. I pray that i'll not fall in this category where i've to sign a contract (Have to get ready a black pen if i fall in this category.Must not fall...).
Went back home and shower up and begin to explore other blogs done by other Westwoodians.Overall, very impressive.Perhaps, my blog would need a renovation. Heard that Karin would like to help me in renovating my blog.She's an expert in this and also my successor in photography. Took a nap in the evening where i have a dream which i would not share in this blog.So sorry...
Anyway, wishing all Westwoodians to relax well during the promotion excersise tomorrow.
Preparing myself photography course tommorow. Have to travel to Harbourfront.How i wish is near.Benefit?Will learn more skills and becming a well equiped skilled photographer.=)
